The department of english in collaboration with (IQAC) of vasanth joshi college of Art's & commerce Zuari nagar goa. Association organises A symposium on Goa an art literary and cultural fair on January 14th 2025 at 10:00 am onwards in college premises. 

Our college hosted a remarkable symposium centered around Goa on 14th January 2025.

Celebrating it's rich art, literature, and cultural heritage. This event was vibrant gathering to showcase their unique blend talent on traditions and contemporary expression that define goa. A symposium had  various activities including singing, dancing, sketching, painting, photography, making handicrafts ,cosplay and putting  food stalls ect. many students took part in this activities and did beautiful painting on goa's art culture and some students also shows goa's beauty culture and heritage. 

There was also an opportunity for attendees to explore goan literature through reading and discussion. The atmosphere was filled with creativity, as artists displayed their works, reflecting the colorful essence of goan culture.they put up photography like goa's beautiful scenery, landscape, beaches ect. All the pictures were put up was amazing. 

 

Students also wrote poems stories and captain by getting inspired by goan themes. We also had a cosplay where our students &teachers dressed up as characters of goan culture.our students also dressed up traditionally in goan attire by showing goan culture it was an pleasant day seeing everyone joining &enjoying this event.after that there was some goan's cosplay show, goan's konkani music and student eassy the teachers with the students had sang song and did cultural dance  in front of that there was a flok dance fugdi. Wherein the other side we also had a food corner where our students showcased their talents by preparing goan food items like sandwich, cutlet pav ect. In our college premises. they also had a great profit in their stalls. There was also a book stall put up on that day.It was a pleasant and enjoy full day looking everyone in goan attire which made us remember about our goan culture.                            

               

        

Overall  the event was a celebration on goa's cultural diversity. The whole surrounding was looking colorfull amazing and full of creativity this event really had shown us and bought back the culture, art literacy of goa.
